DEFINITION

Redeemer Children's Ministry is a ministry of the church to children and young youth, both within and outside the church, aimed at providing opportunities for children to Learn, Grow and Serve.

BACKGROUND

There are three purposes to the Children's ministries:

To provide a contact to connect with the neighbours by creating a safe place where all children belong; where they will get to know God's love and our love therefore allowing unbelievers to become committed followers of Jesus Christ.

To equip our children for the future through the study of God's Word, teaching and spiritual development.

To provide opportunities for our committed children to be actively involved in ministering to others.

 

CORE VALUES

Children are crucial to the family, church and society.

Children need to have the love of God shared with them in a way that will help them want to follow God's Word and be like Him.

Children need to have specific teaching and guidance to empower them to live God-centred lives and to move them to become active Christians.

Children need to be provided with opportunities to practice and share this knowledge.

MISSION / PURPOSE

The Mission of Redeemer Children's Ministry is
"To see children come alive in Christ as they LEARN about God and His son, Jesus, GROW in their personal commitment to God-centred lives and to have the opportunity to SERVE Him."
